Plain-English Summary
Aivently processes subtitle text so it can translate your file and return an export you can download again later. We do not keep raw uploads as a permanent file library, but we do store account-linked translation outputs, preview snippets, billing records, and operational logs needed to run the service.
What Happens When You Upload
Subtitle uploads are read in memory for validation, translation, preview generation, and export creation. The translated output may then be stored with your account so you can reopen history items and download the generated subtitle file later.
What We Store
We may store your Google account identifiers, email address, credit balance, transaction records, translation history metadata, short preview lines, and translated subtitle exports. This stored data is used to support checkout confirmation, account history, support, fraud prevention, and product reliability.
Model Providers and Third Parties
Subtitle translation requests are processed through the OpenAI API. Authentication uses Google sign-in and Firebase services. Credit purchases are processed through Whop. These providers may process the minimum data needed to complete their part of the workflow.
Training and Product Improvement
Aivently does not use your subtitle uploads or translation history to train its own models. Translation requests are sent to OpenAI through the API, and OpenAI states that API customer data is not used to train its models by default.
Logs, Analytics, and Retention
We keep product and operational data such as sign-in events, billing activity, usage metrics, and translation history for security, support, abuse prevention, and service improvement. At this time, translation history is account-linked rather than ephemeral, and there is not yet a self-serve delete flow in the workspace.
Deletion Requests
If you need account-linked translation history or other stored data removed, contact info@aivently.com and we will handle the request manually.
Security
We apply access controls and transport security for sensitive operations. No security system is perfect, but we continuously monitor and improve protections.
